"Oh, I haven't had these in a while!" The girl had bright white hair, enough to grab [Name]'s attention, who had strolled into the convenience store, and she immediately recognized the other patron as Calliope---that one girl in her English class who she talked to occasionally. The girl had thought she was always pretty cute---her looks as well as her personality. It had been more than enough to cheer her up from time to time.
"Gummy bears?" [Name]'s soft voice made Calliope jump up a bit, a smile creeping on her face as she did so. "I haven't had some of those since I was a kid," she said with a laugh.
"Ah, are they good?" A small smile was plastered onto her pink lips, making the other seventeen year old girl blush. Holy fuck, she was really cute.
But it made a small pang go through her heart as the [h/c] girl stood above her crouched acquaintance a few feet away. "You said you had them as a kid, don't you remember?"
A forlorn expression crossed Calliope's face, as she took one of the gummy bear packages off of the rack, squishing a few of them lightly. "Not really, actually." Her voice was quieter than both girls had expected it to be, as she looked at the price tag that she had grabbed the candy off of. "Caliborn was kind of a jerk when we we--"
"You're related to that asshole?" Bewilderment crossed her face, as well as a look of disgust. "He asked me if I was a lesbian, and when I said no, he told me to suck his dick."
Her green eyes widened at her brother's behaviour. "I-I'm sorry for his beh-"
"But then I kicked him in the balls and it was alright. Back to what you were saying, sorry."
Calliope blinked, before shrugging a bit. "He was the one who always took my stuff, so I only had a pack or two as a kid."
[Name] nodded, biting on her lip slightly. What a dick. Shoving her left hand into her pocket she held out her right hand. "Can you hand me a pack?" A blush crossed Calliope's face, as she just handed the pack that was already in her pale hands to [Name], shuffling back a few steps when their hands touched, just slightly.
"Thanks, Calliope. I'll see you tomorrow," [Name] says, with a small grin, before going up to the cashier of the convenience store.
She smiles at him lightly----and the other seventeen year old known as Calliope can't help but feel somewhat jealous at how the cashier now had the attention of the other cute girl.
The white haired girl went back to choosing out a pack of gummy bears, rushing herself as she did so in hopes of catching up to [Name] before she would pay before her.
Speed walking up to the cashier, the girl was only disappointed to find that [Name] was already leaving the store. A small sigh escaped her lips, as she watched the retreating form of the girl.
By sheer luck, most likely, the girl turned around to face Calliope through the glass door of the stoor, albeit a few feet away, winking with her [e/c] eyes, making the girl blush as she saw the [f/c] eye shadow on her lids.
'Call me!' She mouthed to Calliope, before turning around and walking home.
A blush crossed her face, as she turned back to the clerk who had light blue hair. She began to pull out her wallet silently to give him the money, before he shook his head.
"The girl over there already paid for your gummy bears. Oh, and she said to give this to you," he said nonchalantly, sliding a receipt to the white-haired girl.
Her green eyes flickered over the writing on the back of the paper, before she gave a quick thank you to the cashier, scrunching the receipt in her hand as she dashed out of the store, her heart soaring.
